1st Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 15.
162 147 155
Pro Tip
The opening hole is all uphill with trouble short and right so take at least a club more and aim just left of the pin and you may be rewarded with a chance of a birdie.
2nd Hole
PAR 5, S.I. 10.
557 546 494
Pro Tip
A hole played with the head rather than the heart. The ideal tee shot is down the middle with a gentle fade followed by a second in the same vein - this will leave an approach over a mound that obscures the pin. Check your yardage and play long left of the pin for an easier putt as the green slopes from right to left.
3rd Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 7.
210 185 173
Pro Tip
A tough short hole that is all uphill with more trouble if you miss the green right than left. Ideally take enough club and aim left of the pin.
4th Hole
PAR 4 (5), S.I. 1.
437 423 407
Pro Tip
A tough hole especially if westerly wind is blowing. Aim your tee shot up the left half of the fairway and then second too, unless you can fly it all the way. Aim left and allow the slopes to take the ball onto the green. The green itself slopes from back-left to front-right so ideally leave your ball short of the pin for an easier uphill putt.
5th Hole
PAR 4 (5), S.I. 6.
437 427 377
Pro Tip
This fairway slopes from right to left so aim your tee shot to favour the right half of the fairway. The second is to a green that has bunkers guarding the right side - the ideal shot it a gentle fade just left of the pin and with the green above you. Take at least one club more than you think and you may well be rewarded with a putt for a birdie.
6th Hole
PAR 4, S.I. 14.
375 350 335
Pro Tip
Although there appears to be no trouble from the tee the ideal line is to favour the left side of the fairway so your approach does not have to carry the ravine short right of the green. Ideally play your second at the left edge of the green with a gently fade trying to get past the pin for an easier putt back up the green.
7th Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 18.
150 142 138
Pro Tip
A picturesque and testing par 3. Care must be taken not to miss the green on the right side where there are some difficult hazards - so aim just left of the pin with a gentle fade, ideally leaving your ball below the pin for that easier uphill putt.
8th Hole
PAR 4, S.I. 3.
413 393 379
Pro Tip
A tough hole where long hitters can draw the ball around the corner playing just right of the tumuli of the left for an easier second in. Mortals however should play up the middle and if in doubt lay-up with their second as the fairway narrows short of the green and there is trouble both sides. For those going for the green, aim just right of the pin and better to finish in the front portion of the green than at the back.
9th Hole
PAR 4, S.I. 12.
377 364 344
Pro Tip
This left handed dogleg is intimidating from the tee. However there is much more room than there appears. Favour the right side of the fairway from the tee keeping away from the bunker that will collect your ball if you are too greedy. The second has to be accurate and players tend to be short here - so take enough club if you want to be rewarded with a putt for birdie.
10th Hole
PAR 4, S.I. 5.
388 344 308
Pro Tip
A tough start to the back nine. The ideal line form the tee is just left of centre and then you will have a second that is all uphill - take enough club and aim for the centre of the green and depend on your putter for a par or better.
11th Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 17.
136 121 109
Pro Tip
A testing and picturesque par 3 with trouble everywhere. There is only one place to hit the ball - the middle of the green! Make sure you take enough club to clear the front bunker. Better to be on the green with all that trouble at the front.
12th Hole
PAR 5, S.I. 4.
486 460 418
Pro Tip
This is a very tough hole! The safe shot off the tee is a drive of 210 yards. If you want to hit further you risk a difficult lie amongst the humps and hollows. Play your second to the right of the fairway, leaving 100 yards for the approach shot. The shot is into a long and raised tiered green. Check your yardage as you want to finish on the same level as the pin for an easier putt.
13th Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 9.
229 217 191
Pro Tip
Plays all its length with the up slope in front of the green. A tee shot finishing on the green in an achievement. Aim at the right half of the green.
14th Hole
PAR 4, S.I. 13.
360 344 296
Pro Tip
This fairway slopes left to right so aim your tee shot left centre to counteract the slope. For the second shot favour the left side of the green to allow for the gentle left to right slope.
15th Hole
PAR 4 (5), S.I. 2.
433 416 369
Pro Tip
A very tough uphill par 4. The ideal shot is right of the fairway centre. For your second shot check the flag position on this 2 tiered green. Calculate the yardage and take at least an extra club for the uphill shot aiming just right of the pin.
16th Hole
PAR 5, S.I. 11.
507 496 451
Pro Tip
A long narrow dogleg par 5 that requires good positional play. Aim your tee shot right of the fairway centre. For your second shot aim left of fairway centre to avoid the sharp slope on the right. The approach shot needs to be played positively just left of the pin to ensure finishing on the green away from edge of the ravine on the right.
17th Hole
PAR 3, S.I. 16.
195 186 165
Pro Tip
A long tricky par 3 with lots of potential trouble short and to the left of the green. Make sure you take enough club to clear all the trouble at the front. Aim right of green centre to allow for the banking and the gentle slope down the green.
18th Hole
PAR 4 (5), S.I. 8.
432 424 414
Pro Tip
Don't relax yet! A well struck tee shot required here. Aim right of the fairway centre to avoid bunker. For your second shot aim right of green centre as the green gently slopes right to left. The shot is uphill, so check your yardage and take extra club.
